Acoustic concert on the new SUNBURST grand piano

An acoustic concert featuring Mattis Brodersen and Martin Biesecke to mark the unveiling of the new “SUNBURST” grand piano by Steinway & Sons.
From Föhr to the world: Mattis Brodersen is a singer-songwriter from Föhr who sings in Fering, his mother tongue. Fering (pronounced ‘Ferring’), spoken only on the North Sea island of Föhr, is the not-so-secret ingredient of his music, which deals with homesickness and longing, growing up and love. This is the stuff his songs are made of. Unique, powerful and gentle, he lights up any room with his music.
Together with his fellow musician Martin Biesecke, he will be bestowed a very special honour here at Südstrand: the pair will inaugurate our new SUNBURST grand piano, which has now taken its place in our hotel lobby as a special edition from the Hamburg-based manufacturer Steinway & Sons!
