A portrait of the North Sea coast with its stormy moods in breathtaking images. A journey to hidden beauty and the people who find their serene happiness in the rhythm of the sea. A documentary from the makers of "Luv & Lee". A very special evening in the presence of the filmmakers.
Very close to the people who live and work from and with this unique nature in every season, the film addresses questions such as these: Why does a young woman spend a year all alone on a lonely bird island? How did the old captain save the lives of hundreds of people during the storm surge of 1962? What drives a surf instructor to build an entire surf school on the wide beach of St. Peter-Ording every year? And why are the shepherd and his sheep so indispensable for coastal protection? These are touching stories that tell of great passion, deep conviction and endless serenity. > Click here for the homepage
