Music under the stars
Tuesday, 8 September, 9 pm
At around 9 pm, a rather special stargazing walk begins on the south beach: we’ll take a short stroll along the coastline under the night sky and learn about the main constellations.
Accompanied by atmospheric musical improvisations for violin and organ by the two renowned concert musicians Tatjana Pavlenko and Birgit Wildeman. The sounds blend with the wind, the waves and the vast sky above us.
The stories of the heavens tell of boundless love and eternal damnation, of vain beauties and wrathful gods – between music and night, the supernatural becomes earthly, and we journey ever further into the past. A poetic encounter between sound, sea, cosmos, space and time.
Meeting point: 9 pm in front of the sydbar/Südstrand
Föhr erLesen in cooperation with Hotel Upstalsboom. The reading is free of charge, but you will need a ticket for entry!
