Consequences for people and the Wadden Sea
Tuesday, 8 September, 7 pm
The North Sea is getting warmer, and at a faster rate than many other seas around the world.
Can nature keep pace with this rate of change? What will happen to the unique Wadden Sea ecosystem, and what consequences and opportunities does this hold for coastal communities? Marine ecologist Christian Buschbaum from the Sylt Wadden Sea Station of the Alfred Wegener Institute, Helmholtz Centre for Polar and Marine Research, explores these questions in his talk.
