Skilful saunas have a positive effect on your body in many ways. For example, the heat gives your body an artificial fever. This process activates immune cells - and prevents infections. The alternation of hot and cold also trains your blood vessels, which expand and contract as much as possible in a short space of time. This strengthens your circulation. The heat also relaxes your muscles, which relieves tension and increases your well-being.
Unwind, relax, switch off - relaxation is the main focus of a sauna. So make sure you have enough time. Two to three sauna sessions of 8-15 minutes each are ideal.
Large towels for the sauna are available at the spa reception. The sauna is always used without swimwear. Please make sure that you only sit on your towels and do not get sweat on the wood.
Before entering the sauna, you should shower your body thoroughly and remove any make-up. This will not only remove perfume and oil from your skin, but will also improve your sauna experience. Always enter the sauna completely dry. Evaporating shower water will otherwise cool your body - and you will sweat less.
Greet your fellow sauna users in a leisurely tone so as not to disturb the peace and quiet. Also make sure you enter the sauna quickly so that no cool air gets into the sauna. Avoid exertion of any kind in the sauna. This also includes animated conversations. The rule here is: silence is golden!
